1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 100x Roadmap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

The App is provided by 100x Forum ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and 100x Forum.

2. Description of Service

100x Roadmap is a digital life planning tool based on the Halftime Institute methodology, provided exclusively to participants of the 100x Forum program. The App helps users reflect on their life goals, mission, values, and priorities through:

• Guided reflection questions
• AI-powered conversational coaching
• Personal statement development
• Action planning tools

Access Restriction: This App is intended solely for use by current 100x Forum participants. Unauthorized access or use by non-participants is prohibited.

The App is designed for personal use and self-reflection. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, financial advice, or any other professional service.

3. User Accounts

Account Required

Use of the App requires signing in with a Google account or email link. By signing in, you:

• Authorize us to access basic profile information (name, email, photo)
• Agree to Google's Terms of Service
• Acknowledge that your data will be stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App to store or transmit illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Circumvent any security features or access controls

5. AI-Generated Content

Nature of AI Responses

The App uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude or WebLLM) to provide conversational coaching and synthesize your reflections. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors
• AI is not a licensed professional (therapist, counselor, financial advisor, etc.)
• AI responses should be used for personal reflection only
• You should not rely solely on AI responses for important life decisions

No Professional Advice

The AI coaching feature does not constitute professional advice of any kind. For important decisions regarding your health, finances, relationships, career, or legal matters, please consult qualified professionals.

6. Your Data

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App, including your statements, reflections, and personal information.

Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of content you enter
• Maintaining backups of your data
• Protecting access to your device and accounts

Data Loss

We are not responsible for data loss that may occur due to:

• Service interruptions or temporary connectivity issues
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Account deletion or access issues
• Actions by third-party service providers (Google, Firebase)

We strongly recommend regularly exporting your data using the Export feature.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The App, including its design, code, methodology framework, and branding, is the intellectual property of 100x Forum. The Halftime Institute methodology is used with appropriate attribution.

Your License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Firebase: Authentication and cloud storage
• Anthropic: AI processing (Claude)
• WebLLM/MLC: In-browser AI processing

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party providers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF AI RESPONSES
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
• SECURITY OR FREEDOM FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 100X FORUM AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR RECOMMENDATIONS

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR 100X FORUM MEMBERSHIP IN THE CURRENT YEAR.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 100x Forum and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party's rights
• Any content you submit to the App

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• You may export your data before termination if possible
• Provisions that should survive termination (liability, indemnification) will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the App interface.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiations between the parties
2. If unsuccessful, binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association

You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 100x Forum regarding the App.
